70 vs 71-2 Speedometer Differences

On the left is a 71-2 Skylark speedometer with speed-alert.....on
the right is the early, Sept 1969-Jan 1970, speedometer with pointed lens.
The big difference not noticed immediately is the size/height of the numbers....the
1970 numbers are much larger.
This is a good picture showing why the pointed lenses were
changed to flat lenses in January 1970...too much glare/reflection made
reading the speedometer difficult. Also, notice high beam headlight indicator
is red.....later versions are blue.
